Cyberpunk 2077 Teaser Trailer

CD Projekt RED, the company behind The Witcher 1 and 2, have released a teaser trailer for their next game, Cyberpunk 2077, and it looks amazing.



I was never able to get into The Witcher 2, but I partly blame trying to play it on Xbox and being addicted to Dark Souls at the time. What I did experience was enough to have me excited to see how their next game turns out and from what I see here, I can't wait. The setting for the game is definitely more my style than the fantasy setting of The Witcher series. However, there is no gameplay footage to be seen yet, just this pre-rendered video, so I will refrain from getting too excited. Especially after Dead Island.

For more info on the game I will point you to text that was briefly flashed in the video:

"So, you want to know what kind of game cyberpunk 2077 will be? The short description is that it will be a story-heavy, nonlinear, open world RPG based on the well known cyberpunk pen&paper system and setting. Building open world games is something we are mastering right now, and we believe that properly joining nonlinear gameplay with an excellent story telling will bring a totally new quality."

The game is set to be released "When it's finished."
